Martin logan dynamo 500 subwoofer review. I have all b&w speakers on my system except the sub i pick martin logan. But it is hard for me to purchase something without seeing/hearing/feeling. Martinlogan dyn500d dynamo 500 subwoofer (black).

The bass is deep, smooth, and clear in a normal and higher volume. Better yet, think twice and do not buy the dynamo. The bass is now firm and extended.

There was a lot to like about martinlogan’s original dynamo subwoofer series, as we saw in our review of the 1500x, however, that was some time ago. Times have changed since then and technology has progressed, but martinlogan has decided to stay ahead of the curve by totally redoing the dynamo subwoofers with a plethora of new technologies. I loved my martin logan electromotion esl when i bought them, i enjoy them even more with the dynamo 500.

That (efx/esl) purchase will be indefinitely postponed. Plug the dynamo 500 subwoofer into a wall outlet. It out performs a 600 watt 15 wharfedale sub without breaking a sweat.

Think twice before buying the dynamo 500. Manual library / martin logan. Every element of dynamo, from driver to amplifier to crossover to cabinet, is meticulously designed and manufactured to our highest standard.

With all the great reviews on svs subs, i'm sure i would love those. Martin logan dynamo 500 subwoofer versatile, compact, and affordable, dynamo is engineered to martinlogan’s highest standard to deliver superior bass performance. The dynamo 500 handles the bass deeper and stronger than the b&w 200w sub.

It does it’s job fine. It handles the powerful bass without shaking or moving its body compared to the b&w. This was the last piece to our martin logan system.

Read helpful reviews from our customers. And it sounds incredible with music and movies. So i bought it, in part because of the good deal and also felt the sales guy deserved at least a bit of a commission for all his help in talking through tv's, receivers and other stuff.

The martin logan dynamo is small but extremely powerfull. It's super small so the wife factor is not an issue. We’ve already spent a grip on the other ml speakers.

The martin logan name does not, unfortunately, guarantee quality in this case. The other subs i auditioned were def tech prosub 1000, def tech supercube 2 & 3, martin logan dynamo 500, 700, and 1000, and an rel (i cant remember the model number). It’s the lower end of subwoofer but being a military family and moving so much, we didn’t want to invest more money.

So it's quite a surprise to see this compact, affordable subwoofer bearing the logo. In doing some research, i went to magnolia/best buy and they had the martin logan dynamo 500 for $300. To the signal input area located on the dynamo 500’s rear panel.

Sounded good, seemed like a good deal. Updating 11/2011 review of electromotion esl and the dynamo 500 subwoofer after purchasing the martin logan electromotion esl, i bought the dynamo 500 subwoofer. Ironically, i was on the verge of buying a pair of the ml along the lines of the efx/esl when the dynamo went kaput.
